Men Without Hats Release ‘On the Moon’, Their First Album in Three Years

Canadian synth-pop pioneers Men Without Hats have made a triumphant return with their latest album, ‘On the Moon’, released on November 14, 2025. This marks their first full-length release since 2022’s ‘Again, Part 2’.

The album’s lead single, ‘I Love the ’80s’, has already garnered attention for its nostalgic homage to the decade that catapulted the band to fame. Produced by Brian Howes, ‘On the Moon’ stays true to the band’s signature synth-pop sound while incorporating contemporary elements.

The lead single, ‘I Love the ’80s’, has been described by Parade magazine as giving music fans ‘a hairsprayed wink and a shoulder-padded strut’ from the singers of the iconic ’80s hit ‘The Safety Dance’.

The Spill magazine called the single a ‘gloriously cheeky synth-soaked anthem’. The album’s release has been accompanied by a series of promotional events, including a UK and European tour announced earlier this year.

Fans can expect a blend of classic hits and new material during these performances. ‘On the Moon’ is now available on all major streaming platforms and in physical formats. The band continues to celebrate their legacy while embracing the future of synth-pop music.
